| 2020-03-04 15:25:00 DAN GRADA KAŠTELA Kaštela obilježavaju Dan grada upravo na datum 4. ožujka u spomen na isti datum daleke 852. godine kada je knez Trpimir, darovavši crkvicu Svetog Jurja u Putalju splitskoj nadbiskupiji, u pisanoj darovnici izdanoj u Bijaćima, po prvi put napisao “knez Hrvata milošću Božjom”. Trpimirova darovnica, koja je poznata još i kao Povelja kneza Trpimira, jest najstariji sačuvani spomenik hrvatskog prava te predstavlja rodni list hrvatske državnosti. Napisan je na latinskom jeziku, a nastao je 4. ožujka 852. godine. To je i najstarija hrvatska vladarska isprava i ujedno prvi pisani dokument u kojem se spominje Hrvatska i ime HRVAT. Prijepis Trpimirove darovnice iz 16. stoljeća danas se čuva u župnoj Riznici crkve Svetog Jurja u Kaštel Sućurcu koja je zbog čuvanih eksponata od neprocjenjive nacionalne i crkvene važnosti.
